Nat Petrohelos

A dramatic little princess trips over and hurts her foot. While she waits for her father to tend to her she reflects on how life will never be the same again. A picture book written in non-rhyming verse.

Oh my toe trotters!

My five little piggies,

Market piggie, Home pig, my Roast Beef toe!

No more cubby house climbing,

No adventure caving,

No more big bounce jumping on my trampoline.

‘Dad it might be a fracture! Please bring a stretcher!’

Oh tiny tippies!

My perfect polished petals,

Sore little glitter nails, what a nasty fright!

No more high-heel prancing,

No pretty pirouetting,

No more tiptoe twirling at the fancy dress ball.
